Akira established his foundation as a developer in Arc System Works by taking on the role of a planner, eventually becoming a director, releasing 'GUILTY GEAR Xrd REV 2'.

He is currently leading the development team of 'GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-' as one of the prominent young leaders in the company.
