2019-05-22

- Attended by famous game companies including Neowiz, Netmarble and NC Soft

- Extending the period and strengthening links with performance through the Career Talk by a working-level employee

A job fair will be held at the G-STAR site, which exchanges career information in the game industry and offers job opportunities at game companies.

The G-STAR 2018 Game Industry Job Fair (hereinafter referred to as G-STAR Job Fair), which is hosted by the Korea Association of Game Industry (K-GAMES) and organized by the G-STAR Organizing Committee, will be held for two days on November 16~17 in BEXCO (Busan Exhibition & Convention Center).

The G-STAR Job Fair is a side event of G-STAR that provides an opportunity for a job seeker who want to get a job at the game company to meet with an outstanding game company.

In order to expand the actual event performance for this year, the period of the G-STAR Job Fair has been extended from the existing one day to two days, with a career lecture program called career talk provided by a working-level employee who actually works at the game company.

Until now, famous game companies from home and abroad have confirmed their attendance, including Neowiz, Netmarble, NC Soft, Smilegate Holdings, Actoz Soft, Pearl Abyss, and Electronic Arts Korea. In addition, games who wish to participate can make their application through the website for participating companies (www.wanted.co.kr/events/gstar2018co) by November 8.

Job seekers who want to find a job in the game industry can all take part freely at various programs, including the company booths and presentations, resumes and career consulting services, and other event booths. The participants can make their applications beforehand or on the site. If you apply in advance through the website (www.wanted.co.kr/events/gstar2018), you can also get a chance to win small giveaways.

The K-GAMES General Manager Yong Guk Kim said, Unlike the existing job fairs, we wanted to provide opportunities to actually link companies and talented employees through the G-STAR Job Fair. We would like to invite the active participation of companies who are looking for outstanding individuals, as well as job seekers no experience or with experience who are interested in finding jobs in the game industry.
