Speakers Info
Jiwon Choi is the Director of NEOWIZ ROUND8 Studio Team NOUGH.
He served as the lead combat planner for Asker: The Light Swallowers (2015), and later oversaw the combat system design of Lost Ark, where he established a sophisticated combat system and built his reputation as a game director.
Subsequently, as the executive director of Lies of P (2023) and Lies of P: Overture (2025), he led both titles to worldwide success.
Lies of P garnered attention even before its release by winning three awards at the 2022 Gamescom Award in Germany.
Following its launch in 2023, the game won six awards at the Korea Game Awards, including the Grand Prize, and also achieved remarkable recognition at global ceremonies such as
The Game Awards.

The studio’s directors actively embrace the unique storytelling potential that only games can offer, crafting narratives through their own philosophies and creative approaches.
In this session, each director will share their definition of “game narrative,” along with their personal experiences and insights on narrative design.
From Lies of P to upcoming ROUND8 Studio projects, the directors will explore how they realize emotion and meaning through diverse perspectives, artistic styles, and narrative techniques.
