After graduating from university, Shinji Hashimoto began his career at Bandai Co., Ltd., where he gained public recognition through his television appearances as
“Hashimoto Meijin (Hashimoto Game Connoisseur)”.
In 1995, he joined the former Square Co., Ltd., taking on key roles including Brand Manager for the Final Fantasy series.
Over the years, he became Executive Vice President of Square Enix Co., Ltd. and Director of Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd.
He now holds the position of Senior Vice President at the ForwardWorks Room within Aniplex Inc., and also serves as Senior Advisor at Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc.
